high school never ends
even though it’s summer and i’ve graduated from high school, the high school drama’s still here; the same happenings are going on. no one’s really changed. even though we’re going to college, i had this sense of foreboding that people don’t really change. the girls who were petty in high school will continue their petty antics, but hopefully, they’ll become for tactful; the nerds will continue spending hours on end in front of a computer screen pondering philosophical conundrums; and i guess i’ll just continue waiting.
